Accessibility Policy

This statement was last updated on June 19, 2026. At Haiti Hope Alliance, we strive to ensure our mission and website are accessible to everyone as we serve the community through our Christian 501(c)(3) mission.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

Web accessibility means ensuring everyone can navigate our site with ease, regardless of their physical abilities. For our Haiti Hope Alliance family—from donors to partners—we use tools and design practices that support screen readers and other assistive tech, because every visitor matters.

Our Commitment to Making This Site Easy to Use

At Haiti Hope Alliance, we are working hard to make our website welcoming and usable for everyone. To do this, we are carefully choosing fonts and colors that are easy for most people to read. We are also adding descriptive text to our images so that everyone can understand what is on each page. We want our site to work well with assistive tools, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation, so that browsing is as seamless as possible for all visitors. Please understand that making a website fully accessible is an ongoing journey. While we are dedicated to constant improvement, there may still be some sections that aren't perfect yet. We appreciate your patience as we continue to learn and grow in our efforts to serve our entire community more effectively.

Our Ongoing Journey Toward Universal Digital Accessibility For All

Haiti Hope Alliance is dedicated to inclusion, though our site may not yet fully satisfy every WCAG or legal requirement. We take this responsibility seriously and are actively learning and making improvements. If you encounter any barriers while browsing, we sincerely welcome your feedback to help us grow and better serve our community.

In-Person and Communication Accessibility Efforts

Haiti Hope Alliance is dedicated to including everyone in our mission. As a small non-profit, we work within our available resources to make our activities accessible. In both Haiti and the US, we aim to select meeting locations that are easy for people with physical disabilities to enter and navigate whenever possible. We strive to communicate using clear, straightforward spoken language so that our message is understood by all. Additionally, we are always open to hearing from you regarding specific needs and will do our best to provide reasonable accommodations upon request to ensure you can participate.

Accessibility Support & Outreach

If you encounter any barriers on our site or have suggestions on how we can improve our digital communications, we are here to listen and help. We invite you to share the specific details of the challenge you experienced and any suggestions you have for a better solution so we can support your needs effectively.
